Sen. Jason Crowell to Honor Purple Heart Recipient
JEFFERSON CITY — Senator Jason Crowell, R-Cape Girardeau, will present a Missouri State Senate Resolution on Saturday, October 3rd, to Josh Eckhoff in honor of his service and sacrifice in Iraq. The resolution recognizes Eckhoff’s service in the Missouri National guard, where on his second tour of duty in Iraq, he was injured by an improvised explosive device. For his patriotic service, Josh Eckhoff is the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
The presentation will be part of the 64th annual American Legion Cotton Carnival Parade in Sikeston, Missouri. For his service, Josh Eckhoff has been selected by American Legion Post #114 to be the Grand Marshall of the parade.
